Breaking the long blog silence.
So. Hello, and all the like formal and informal greetings. I am travelling once again, and thus I am apart from my community but wishing to stay in touch/somewhat authentic with those I care about. These next postings will, as they have been in the past, be more to do with my reflections on my experiences than than a simple listing of my experiences. I think it is more apt, when the words between friends and family are reduced to blogs and e mails, to share words on issues of the heart as they relate to new experiences, rather than to just relate those experiences. So, I hope that as I begin posting again I can convey both my experiences and my thoughts to those I care about, and that those I care about would do the same toward me. I guess I catch yáll at the next post.

Glad that you are able to reflect about the community at home (here) and the rich experiences to be had on locale (there).
I am excited to hear about your experiences "from the heart."
I, and blue sky, miss you.
ericj.
Do you want me to re-post that letter for you (i noticed it got deleted when you changed templates)?
I can't wait to hear more of your thoughts, Phil. I've just been reading about the presidential election in Argentina. Has that produced any craziness where you are?

I overslept and stood up the GFK at Blue Sky yesterday to my everlasting shame, but we're gonna make it happen next week. The issue of me not being able to receive text messages came into play twice this weekend. Now Kaettie and Maggie are saying they want to chip in to pay for the option so I'm in the loop. Damn technology! Mattshaw, with whom I hung out at the Wynkoop tonight to watch the Rockies lose the World Series to the BoSox (Go Sports!), has the right idea. Poo poo on cell phones.
I hope you are having a great time, and I look forward to your next post. I miss you. It's not the yooj here without you.
ahhhhh. the ps blog is back in action. sweet action that is. i'm super-excited for you to be in Argentina, learning spanish, chillin' with the best of friends (give Joelito a GIANT hug for me), exploring a new country, and just becoming more of you.
love you, miss you, thinking about you.

Yo yo phillio, Great to know you are in the big A, living in the wild wilderness, dredlocking it up and I imagine writing and pondering into the deep blue. Sitting at a desk currently, feeling quite official here in Austin, Tx...oh the Texas twang (will update you on how the Grassfed Conference goes)! My hotel room is a deluxe (extreme from your tent, star gazing time), the beds I have to admit are gloriously soft! But yes, working like crazy...faxing and calling and typing and well, my brain is a little overloaded and technologized (yes a new word).
Can't wait to hear more of your adventure! Sending hugs and prayers - in light,
DeJa
P.S. it was crazy the other night at our early Holloween party, Maggie and I were talking and she told me her parents have a cabin somewhere in New Mexico...and get this - in my little ole' home town of Eagle Nest. We were both in shock, talk about a small world!
guess what? I returned the sink! Yeeeeee haw! sorry it took so long.
